NEWS: YOSHIKI FOUNDATION AMERICA RAISES OVER $200.000 for JAPAN RED CROSS SOCIETY

On Friday, March 11, 2011, a 9.0 earthquake and catastrophic tsunami desecrated northeast Japan, killing thousands of people, injuring and/or displacing tens of thousands more, destroying property, marine life, communications and transportation systems. In efforts to support victims of this tragedy, Yoshiki Foundation America began accepting donations to the JAPAN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF FUND from individuals, corporations and other organizations. All donations received during the fundraising campaign went to Japanese Red Cross Society to assist with the Japanese Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami recovery efforts. The campaign began on March 11, 2011 and was scheduled to end on June 11, 2011. However, after considering the continuing needs of those affected, the campaign continues. To date, Yoshiki Foundation America has raised over $200,000 for the Japan Red Cross Society through a combination of website donations, celebrity auction, and auction of Yoshiki's Crystal Piano.
